You Were Intentionally Created!
You were created intentionally. Hello! Today I want to remind you of something very important: your life has meaning. You are not an accident, nor a result of chance. Even before you were born, God was already thinking of you and had a special purpose for your life.
It’s normal to feel lost at times, wondering what the point of it all is. But here’s the good news: your purpose begins with God, not with you.
The Bible says it like this:
“In Christ we discover who we are and what we live for. Long before we even heard about Him, God had His eyes on us and plans for us to live fully.” (Ephesians 1:4 paraphrased) You may be wondering: What exactly does that mean?
1. You were designed with intentionality. God created you to be in relationship with Him. And when you choose to focus on God, something incredible happens: you find joy, peace, and purpose in your life.
“So seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all that you need will be given to you.” (Matthew 6:33)
2. You were made for community. You are not alone in this world, but due to many circumstances or by choice, we live as if we were created to live alone. But in reality, we were created to connect with others, support each other, and grow together.
3. You were created for something greater than worldly success. The meaning of life isn’t about achieving success, having more followers, becoming more popular, or even accumulating more things. It’s about growing every day, being in community with others who seek to follow God, and becoming more like Jesus every day, no matter what challenges life brings.
4. You have unique abilities to make a difference. Your talents and abilities aren’t just a fluke. Have you ever noticed that something you do with ease is very difficult for others? That’s because God has given you special abilities to make a positive impact on the world. He places specific gifts in each of us so we can work with them and even bless others with them.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” (1 Peter 4:10) So if you ever doubt your purpose, remember this: You were created by God, who doesn’t think of you as a mistake but as someone with a purpose no one else on earth can fulfill.
