Bible Text: Luke 14:25-28, 2 Co 11:24-27 | Speaker: Michelle Cazas | Series: Discipleship | The cost of being a Disciple
In God's kingdom there are followers and there are disciples. What's the difference? What does it mean for Jesus to "hate our loved ones"?
What's the message of Christmas? We have a God who is in control of history. Zechariah's story shows us how the first Christmas began and what it meant for him to experience God's presence revealing his plans. Our God is in control and we are called to trust him with everything.
Today we are starting a new series of messages- Worship as a Response. How do you know that you are a true worshiper? Today's message is the story of the ten lepers that received healing, but only one turn back to praise and to worship Jesus. Every blessing that we receive from God should prompt our hearts to worship him.
Stress is the body's reaction to any change that requires an adjustment. Even positive changes can cause stress. Stress can be manage by practicing community, rest, and by coming to Jesus to listen to him.
